International Records hold by Nepali Cricket Players

There is a long history of Cricket in Nepal. In 1920s Cricket was introduced to Nepal for the first time by Madan Shumsher Jung Bahadur Rana, youngest son of Rana Prime Minister Maharaja Chandra Shumsher Jang Bahadur Rana. Later in 1946, the cricket governing body-Cricket Association of Nepal(CAN) was formed. In 1988 Nepal became an Affiliate Member of International Cricket Council(ICC). Nepal has been participating in International Cricket since 1996. Although, It has been long time Nepal is representing cricket in international platform, it hasn't been able to gain full membership of ICC. The team gained T20 International status for the first time in 2013 after qualifying for the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 which was the first and only appearance at a major ICC event. The team also gained One Day International status in 2018 after finishing 8th in the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier.

Nepal T20 League, an official t20 franchise league of CAN, is all set to start from 23 December

Nepal T20 League is an men's franchise T20 cricket league of Nepal founded by Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) in 2022. The league consists of six teams representing six different cities of Nepal. The first season of Nepal T20 League will be conducted from 23 December 2022 and final will be played on 10 January 2023. All matches will be played in Tribhuvan University International Cricket Stadium, Kritipur, Kathmandu. Six teams will take part in the inaugural Nepal T20 League. The teams are Kathmandu Knights, Lumbini All Stars, Biratnagar Super Kings, Janakpur Royals, Pokhara Avengers and Farwest United. Player Registration for the Nepali Players was made open from August 27. More than 300 Nepali players registered for the draft. However, only 66 of them were drafted in the final squad. Preliminary Results of National Census 2078

National census of Nepal 2078 is a 12 th census and first census after the latest constitution which was implemented in 2072 BS in Nepal. This census was conducted in two phases starting from Bikram Samvat(B.S.) 2078 Bhadra 30 to Ashwin 18 as a first phase and 2078 Kartik 25 to Mangshir 9 as a second phase. Till now, only the preliminary result of this census is released and final result after processing the data is expected to release in the month of Poush 2079 B.S.
